A. A tanning mitt (velvet-faced)
is used to apply self-tan product evenly across the body. An exfoliating mitt
has a textured surface and is used before tanning — in the shower — to slough
off dead skin cells, smooth rough patches, and remove any traces of old tan.
Using an exfoliating mitt 24 hours before applying self-tan means your formula
develops more evenly, lasts longer, and fades uniformly without patchy areas.
The Iconic Bronze Luxury Double Sided Exfoliating Mitt combines a coarser
exfoliating face and a softer face in one product.

A. The Luxury Back Applicator is
the easiest solution. Apply your self-tan mousse or liquid to a tanning mitt,
attach it to the back applicator's paddle, and use the extended handle to reach
all areas of your back in sweeping motions. It takes under two minutes and
eliminates the guesswork. For best results, do a final blend at the sides of
your back by wrapping the mitt around your hand once you have covered the main
areas.

A. For the face, a Luxury Kabuki
Brush gives the most precise, buildable, and natural-looking result. Apply a
small amount of face tan or tan drops to the back of your hand, pick up product
with the brush, and buff in circular motions across the face, blending into
the hairline, over the brows, and down the neck for a seamless finish. Pair

A. This is one of the most common
tanning mistakes. The Skin Wrist Cuffs sit over the wrist and hand during
application, protecting the thin skin and tendons on the back of the hand and
the wrist crease, areas where tan can build up and look patchy. After applying
tan to each body part, remove the mitt, hold your hands relaxed, and blend any
excess product lightly across the back of the hands using a dry mitt or tissue.
Never apply tan directly to the palms.

A. Rinse your tanning mitt in cool
water immediately after use , warm or hot water can degrade the velvet fibres
faster. Gently squeeze (do not wring) to remove excess product, then leave flat
or hang to air dry. Avoid machine washing where possible, but if you do wash
it, use a delicate cycle with no fabric softener. A well-maintained mitt should
last between 15 and 30 applications. Replace it when the velvet starts to pill
or discolour, as a worn mitt is more likely to cause streaks.
