The Best Way to Scrub Away Your Tan

So your tan has been on for a week. It's fading, it's looking a little flaky and you don't think it's the kind of office look that you want. You need to scrub it off, but how? Well, we have the answer.

 What to Use

As always, the answer is Iconic Bronze, and we have the perfect product. Our Iconic Bronze Self Tan Eraser (£12.99) works fast magic to remove self tan in 5 to 10 minutes. The foaming cleanser is gentle on the skin and tough on your tan. The formula is made up of moisturising elements to leave your skin silky smooth. Self tan is known for being stubborn, and so when removing it from your skin, it's important that you use a product that creates a fresh base, especially if you're applying a new layer.

 How to Use It

Step 1: In order to ensure the best results, make sure that your skin is dry after a lovely, relaxing shower. Apply Iconic Bronze Self Tan Eraser to your skin after at least 3/4 days of applying self tan.

Step 2: Use the pump foam applicator to liberally apply our Self Tan Eraser to your skin. Leave the Self Tan Eraser on the skin for at least 5-10 minutes in order for it to work its magic.

Step 3: Shower with warm water using a wet face cloth to wipe away the tan. You know those stubborn areas? Your knees, your elbows. Rub them more gently with an exfoliating mitt or damp face cloth.

Why You Should Do It

Our skin is constantly shedding, and when it does that, our smoother, new skin cells, push their way up onto the skin's surface. Sometimes, for other reasons, the rate of this slows down rapidly, and dead skin cells linger longer on the surface. We need to exfoliate in order to remove those dead skin cells. The process also helps our skin look younger, fresher and smoother. Talking especially about the link between self tan and exfoliation, you need to remember that the process helps unclog your pores and even out your skin tone, it has the upmost importance in the tanning experience. So, use your Self Tan Eraser to remove your faux tan, and if your skin needs an extra scrub, reapply the foam to an exfoliating mitt or loofa. It’ll make the world of difference to the overall appearance of your tan.

Iconic Bronze
